AgriTecSorbents, LLC’s mission is to complete the rice industries environmentally friendly cycle of turning rice hulls into energy by converting rice hull ash into high quality, value added commercially attractive products.

What We Do

Our business is to use patented processes to convert rice hull ash (RHA) into high purity liquid sodium silicate and powdered activated carbon. Rice hulls, also called husks, are the combustion energy source for the rice industry for the production of both steam and steam generated electricity. This is an environmentally friendly alternative to using fossil fuels as energy sources. Rice and its hulls are abundant and low cost renewable resources. The resulting rice hull ash is rich in high purity silicas and powdered activated carbons, which we process and provide commercially.
