Technology

The simple process involves treating the rice hull ash (RHA) with a solution of sodium hydroxide at relatively low temperatures of less than 275 degree Fahrenheit and low pressures of less than 50 PSI. The amorphous silicas react completely with the solution forming liquid sodium silicate with suspended particles of activated carbon. The activated carbon is filtered from the solution, washed, dried, classified and packaged.

Advantages of our Technology

We complete the environmentally friendly process of using rice hulls for energy by turning the RHA into useable products.

Our process is also environmentally friendly.

Our raw material is abundant, economical, and renewable.

We can produce high purity silicates and value added activated carbons at lower than typical commercial costs.
